Can't believe I made that much of an impression.
[Jeff is trying to laugh, too, but it only sort of works. He backs away, heading to his suitcase. The room is still mostly tidy, but there's a sketchbook and some clothes on the bed, a laptop with a tablet hooked to a charger on the desk.]
